Has anyone tried Accelerated-X from Xi Graphics, Inc. with a Permedia 2,
8MB card on Alpha Linux?

I have a Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro which I would like to be able to drive
at higher resolutions than 1280x1024.

Any comments on how well it performs?

There is supposed to be a time limited demo copy on their ftp site but I
wasn't able to find it.
