Hello,
I've got a XLT-300, 2.2.6 and a AudioPCI (using the es1370 driver), and
I'm having troubles also. My system don't freeze but when playing mp3
files the sound get's noisy and after a while the mp3-player crashes.
The strange thing is that the 2.2.0-pre7 kernel works all right with good
sound. 2.2.0 and up mess things up, and it gets worse with every new
release of the kernel.
So maybe the 2.2.0-pre7 works for other people as well. Does anyone know
what is changed since 2.2.0-pre7 with respect to sound ?
