Well, I have the same general sort of problem... whenever I play any PCM audio
through my 164LX-based box (using OSS/Linux drivers), applications elsewhere
on the system begin to segfault, and sometimes, if X is running, it'll lock
my system up hard.
The only circumstances are on PCM *playback*, not recording or mixing.
