In general we have found it to be sensitive, but we have been shipping LX
and UX machines for nearly 2 years with 1GB of RAM, and recently with 1.5GB
on the UX and they work fine.
If you install Digital UNIX on an LX it is the most sensitive situation,
and there we recommend the memory from Corsair. In general this is now
needed, and we mostly use RAM from Daines (AMG), Ventura, and Virtium. They
work, they are companies which strongly support their customers, and are
Linux friendly.
