Hi all.
We are installing Red Hat Linux 5.2 on our AlphaServer 4/200 (Sable), via
SRM, in replacement of OSF/1. During the installation, a message indicates
that the hard disk have a BSD disklabel, maybe because this disk was
formely used with the prior OS. Is there a way to "remove" this siganture
in order to use diskdruid and avoid later problems making the disk
bootable? (yes, this is a nth try :) )
(In a try to do this, we edited the BSD disklabel using the fdisk program
and deleting th 8 (a-h) partitions, but with no success, because the disk
is recognized yet as with a BSD disklabel)
Thanks in advance.
Ramon
