Does anyone know of any database software vendors who might release
versions of their software under Linux/Alpha? ORACLE and Sybase have
released Linux/x86 binaries...

Subject: Postgres on AXP?
Given the recent postings about MySql being a
bit of a mem hog, I was
wondering if;
a) Postgres works on Alpha-Linux (ie: is anyone
using it?) ?
b) If a) is 'Yes', what are expected meory
usages compared to MySql
(equiv, 2x, .5x, etc..).
Thanks
Chris
