I'm not using a Cybex Commander, but a Rose ServeView 4 port box.

In order to run milo, I have to power cycle the Rose box while holding
down the 'Next' button. It is quite inconvenient, but luckily the
Alpha box doesn't need to be power cycled very often. You might try
something similar.... I ended up having to talk to Rose tech support,
as the Alpha box worked just fine with a real keyboard attached.

Subject: aLinux and Cybex boxes?

Is anyone out there successfully running aLinux boxes with a Cybex
Commander?

(if you don't know what a cybex is, they are used to connect multiple
pc/wkstn to single monitor/kb/maus).

I have been hassling with a UDB connected to a cybex. The kb works fine in
SRM or in ARC, and also with installing NT or DU, but when trying to
install RH aLinux, the keyboard mapping dies at the MILO> prompt.

I have now duplicated this problem on the AS 200 and the AS 400. All of
these machines work fine in combination with a cybex on NT or DU. And all
of them fail when connected to cybex while installing RH linux.

Any one got any insight on this?
