Are there any Adaptec folks (or someone that has a line to them) on the
list? I have an AHA-3944UWDS1 (aic7xxx) that's recognized at boot time
by the bios, but wants to boot from a disk on one of its scsi buses.
The Adaptec site claims this is an oem-only card and call the oem.
Neither the card nor the paperwork with it suggest any particular oem.
Adaptec seems to be willing to do support at $35/call...wrong!!
All I want to do here is shut off the bios, which doesn't have a strap
or an option at boot time (at least nothing obvious).
Any clues?
