Occasional crashes may be due to the misalignment trap handling bugs
in "Pristine 2.0.30 + Jay's alpha patches applied". If you apply the
alpha patches, also apply the patch from genie. See "Linux Alpha
Patches and Bug Fixes - Kernels, GCC, and Profiling" for details. You
can get it from this list's archive.
