Do the Adaptec 2940 series cards work OK in the UDBs? I have a need for
two SCSI busses on our news server and I'd like to throw an Adaptec card
in there. Initially I'm gonna use the 2940U that I have lying around, but
eventually I want to add the 2940UW (wide) because all the drives in our
RAID 5 array are wide units.

Even more importantly, is there a way to configure these cards from an
Alpha? I suppose I could slap them into an Intel system and configure them
with the built-in BIOS, but that is going to be a bit of a pain.
