I had the same problem on my UDB running Red Hat 3.0.3. Doing
chown daemon /var/spool/at
chgrp daemon /var/spool/at
solved that problem for me. The permissions of my "/var/spool/at"
now look like:
drwx------ 3 daemon daemon 1024 Oct 8 2016 at
-> No more "permission denied" messages since then.
