Um - I just did a test installation of RH 4.0 on a 240MB disk - works fine,
I can get either averything which I need for development, plus about 80 MB
free (which you need to compile a kernel), or I can install some extras, X11
etc., but don't have much space left - so you should be able to install a
complete working system on the internal 340MB drive and put everything else
on en external disk.
