The second thing happened when I tried to compile the CBM C64 emulator vice.
With old RH3, with gcc 2.7.0, this was no problem at all. The new gcc
crashed hard with "virtual memory exhausted". After disabling all
optimizations and killing all unnecessary processes (with 32MB RAM and 16MB
swap!) I managed at least to compile it. And what made me most nervous was
that one time the "virtual memory exhausted" killed the klogd!
I think that there are still some bugs either in glibc or gcc 2.7.2.
OK. That's about it for today :)
Ahh ... it was kernel 2.0.23

PS: BTW...could someone please tell me how to run X on my Jensen with the
Compaq Q-Vision graphics card (if at all possible)?
