First i like to thank all people for this. Unfortunaly, the machine
still doesn't work.I have tried six key boards that are working and this
multia still give me the same error. " Timeout on keyboard controller or
keyboard initialization. All I/O is going to serial port #1.I will try
to attach a lopp in serial port #1, as soon as i find the corrrect
attaschment. I need help to look for this becauset he serial port has
fifthteen pin.(i have never seen anythin' like it before).
here, i also like to explain how and where the error started. \
1) i was running WIN NT 3.51(ALPHA) and the screen saver comes on.
Usually when we move the mouse or the keyboard the screen would come
out. Unfortunaly, my Multia doesn't response to either the keyboard or
mouse. So, i turn off the machine. The next time i know, i got the
message." Timeout on keyboard controller or keyboard initialization. All
I/O is going to serial port #1. the machine just stops there.
As what you all have suggest i have change the keyboard. (Six includes
two DEC original key board) Still no luck. Before log-off, i brought
this machine from ONSALE an the person who spoke to me stated she cannot
do anything b'cos the warranty was one month and clearly written on the
AUCTION page. All Sales are FiNAL!! I have tried to contacted the seller
but always ended with a busy signal and they pushes me back to the
ONSALE people.Anywaty, thanks for help, friends.Stephen J. Gaudet wrote:
