UDB SCSI Problem

I decided to switch from NT4.0 on my UDB to RedHat-4.0.
After partioning the harddisk and selecting the packages the
NFS based install begins. For some reason though the UDB justs
stops during the install. I have tried to install RedHat 5 times and I
always get this error during the installation of the packages.
(Always at a different point during the install)

This message is the last I get:
<4>scsi : aborting command due to timeout, pid 12345 SCSI 0, channel 0, id
0 lun 0 write (6) 00 a0 10 48 00
<4>ncr53c8xx_abort : abort call
<4>ncr53c810-0 : restart (ncr dead ?)
<4>scsi0channel0: resetting for second half of retries
<4>scsi bus is being reset for host 0 channel 0

RedHat 3.0.3 installs just fine, but I get the same as above when I upgrade
to
4.0

I did not have any problem running NT4.0 so I think that the hardware is
o.k.

Any suggestions???

TIA
