I can't even seem to get mine working with my nice new
Cyrix board !!!!! I think this is due to the ISA bus
being run at nearly 15Mhz, bad news to a MAX.

Jay - It doesn't surprise me about the detection problems.
I assume the non-MAX driver sees the MAX parts of the ACE,
and mentions the fact, but the MAX driver sees that some of
the bits are missing from the MAX spec, and also complains !!

Has anybody gotten any variety of GUS to work with Linux/AXP? I
haven't tried it yet, and may not have time to do so, but I was curious
if anybody had and knew it was possible...
