Hmm --- that makes me wonder. What do you count as "kernel compile"?
What options included in the kernel? Is "make dep; make clean" included?

The reason I am asking is that it takes me 6 to 7 minutes to compile
a kernel, and that's on a PC164/433MHz. Of course, there is quite a bit
in my kernel ;-)
