Hi,

A funny that I found with the milo and RH axp floppy images
was that they do not work if you download them using Netscape
3.0 under Win95 (didn't try any others,) but when the next day
I downloaded them with ws-ftp everything worked perfectly. The
major funny was that Netscape worked perfectly on the Intel
RH floppy images !!!! Figure that one ;-)

Alan.

Ok, I compiled a new kernel on my UDB, did a " make boot "
everything looks like it went alright, but when I try to boot the new
kernel, milo tells me file header has bad magic number. What the hell is
this! Is this a compiler problem where it creates a elf binary kernel and
milo cannot understand it? Maybe I am just completely wrong here but I
need some advice.

I have done this before many times on a pc, but this is different for some
reason.
