You are not the only one...I have an X8 Philips on the UDB which
doesn't work, but my X2 IBM works fine. I believe the block size is
incompatible or not supported in the NCR driver. Or it could be the
Philips doesn't have it's own TERM power. In any case, not all SCSI-II
CD-ROMS work with the UDB out of the box. That being said, most
problems poeple experience are related to improper active termination.
