If you use the libc that comes with RH4.0, you must use
the axp-diffs available on ftp.azstarnet.com.

There is a newer libc snapshot that does not require
patches, but it is not Official or anything. Binaries
are on ftp.redhat.com:/pub/alphabits, though they are
not packaged such that they'll drop in smoothly.
