Well, my UDB came with a stand to allow it to stand upright. It also
had instructions from Digital telling me how to fit the stand to the
UDB. Virtually every picture of the UDB I've seen has it standing
upright next to the monitor.

So I guess it shouldn't be a problem :-)

I think the worry about the HDD might have been true many years ago,
but it's not a problem now.
