| Part of the issue I've noticed with some of these failed
| system builds (and this popped up a week or so back) is in
| the usage of some of the aux configuration things (like
| menuconfig or xconfig). You all must realize that these
| paths are unlikely to get regression tested for anything
| but major releases, so if this kind of thing fails for
| you, try the 'make config' standard thingie first....

Here are the results of a 'make ARCH=alpha config'

PS/2 mouse (aka "auxiliary device") support (CONFIG_PSMOUSE) [Y/m/n/?]
C&T 82C710 mouse port support (as on TI Travelmate) (CONFIG_82C710_MOUSE) [N/y/?]

Watchdog Timer Support (CONFIG_WATCHDOG) [N/y/?]
Enhanced Real Time Clock Support (CONFIG_RTC) [N/y/?]
