printer problem

Hi All,

I installed Redhat 4.0 about four weeks ago on my 200 4/233 (the install
was much easier than the 2.1 release, my thanks to all involved), but have
yet to get my HP laserjet functioning. I'm using the printer setup tool in
the control panel and think all the settings are correct (Postscript,
/dev/lp0, etc.), lpd
is running but all I get is "waiting for printer to become ready (offline?)."

If I do "cat file > /dev/lp0" the printer winks at me a couple of times but
nothing comes out. The printer is actually connected correctly since it
works under winnt.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
David

P.S. I've tried repeatedly to get support@redhat.com to respond to this
question with absolutely no luck. I'm pretty happy with the Redhat
products I've purchased but have to admit this part has been frustrating.
