Yeah I'm aware of his policy and I did mention this a couple of
months ago, surely someone on the list knows how to build a cross
compiler for Alpha Linux which will run on his sun.

Presumably in fact he already has an alpha compiler, since he produced
OSF versions but these don't like being linked in (yes I did you ECOFF).
