Jensen's 2nd serial port

Hello all!
My Jensen still seems not to like his second serial port ;(
When I try to access it via minicom or a simple cat foo > /dev/ttyS1 (or
cua1) it dumps the follwing on me:

Those messages repeat endlessly until a complete halt of the system which
can only be resolved by a power cycle.

The serial driver seems to detect two serial devices correctly:

Or does it detect wrong settings? Should I use different ones?

Any help would be really appreciated! I'd like to have two serial ports
usable...
