We have had good expierence with the Netopia products from Farallon with
use with a UDB (or any machine for that matter). Single or multiple
machines on a small network. The piplines also work well, but are more
expensive, and IMHO are a little harder to set up.
Both the above products were connected to the UDB via ethernet. It's
pretty simple and it works pretty well. I have an adtran ISDN "modem"
hanging around, I could throw it on the serial port and see what it does
(this would be similair to a bitsurfer type setup)
