Hmm, I think that my installation woes are somewhat related...about 10
packages into the installation (4.0), my CD apparently times out, the
kernel tries to wake it up, and fails a few times, before it finally locks
up the machine. Mine is an 8x NEC (and the supplied 2.0.18 kernel..altho
under RH 3.0.3 it never had probs on 1.3.90 or 2.0.18)
