Try the images on

total 2104
-rw-r--r-- 1 50 1276 1474560 Jul 5 18:56 as255.img
-rw-r--r-- 1 50 1276 674048 Jul 5 19:02 vmlinux.gz

I used it to boot an alphastation 255. The first (as255.img) is a
floppy image, the second the kernel.
