C++ & AXP

Hello all,

I hope this an appropriate forum to ask this question... :)

I'm really confused! I've used gcc on several different systems - HP/UX,
Linux, etc. On _all_ of the systems the C++ distribution came with several
header files - including iostream.h, Complex.h, and fstream.h.

We just purchased an Alpha, FTP'ed all the development rpm's from RedHat
(which included several rpm's that _looked_ a _lot_ like they should have
included the C++ bits... but they didn't _seem_ to.

Am I blind? Are they hiding somewhere? GCC runs fine for hello_world.c
but can't find the above include files when I try to compile a more
complicated C++ program.

Any hints, pointers, suggestions, etc! would be _greatly_ appreciated!!!
