You're breaking new ground; that can often be frustrating... :-)

Yours is the first publicly announced attempt to get one of those DeskStations
going with Linux.

Since the SCSI controller (AM53C974) is not one I recognize as having been
ported to the Alpha yet, it might be better initially to work only from
floppies, until you get things further along. ARC console can be told to
boot linload and MILO from the floppy, try that instead.

If that SCSI controller is supposed to be compatible with the NCR810, or
some of its siblings, it *may* work, but I have no information about it.
