Next set of questions:
I got the latest milo (test-image from gatekeeper)
with hopes of being able to reboot without hitting
the powerswitch, and not needing to reset the date
on each reboot (still on the multia.) The reboot
doen't work, and the date is still wrong. Do I
need a new linload.exe as well?
Is the multia one of the boxes that can't do the
reboot because of different/lacking environment
variable mechanisims?
Is there a way to get linux and a multia to
come up with the right date (short of counting
on another box somwhere being "rdate"able?)
(Its off by 20 years and some days in linux,
but the SRM console has the right time.)
Does anyone have the ncpfs code working with
the apx alpha, or even the multia (or am I
hoping for too much?)
What I did:
changed the multia kernal config to
do ipx and support the NCP and SMB
file systems. rebuilt the kernal.
reboot the computer.
got the ncpfs-0.15.tgz package from
sunsite. build the tools. got a
hang. I recompiled the tools, ran
gdb and found a hang to be in the
first call to select looking for
ipx packets. e.g.
(gdb) where
