IPX & samba support

My offical 2.1 cdrom is in the mail,
I have the beta, and ftp'd the packages
that were upgraded between beta
and offical 2.1 releases. My box
is a multia, and I thought I answered
the kernel config questions right,
but the vmlinux it makes does not
work the same as the multia.gz on
the 2.1 beta cd. (It throws me
back to a milo prompt that is broken.)

Here are my questions:

What does a good .config for
the multia look like?
Does the milo image need to
match the kernal release?
Does the linload image need to
match the kernal release?
Does anyone have the IPX/samba stuff
working from a multia?

Thanks,

Dan S.
