Any one got any idea's on backups for an alpha. The dump/restore program
I have, doeesnt actually seem to work. Very verbose about what its
doing, but its way to quick and restore wont read what dump did write...

tar doesnt make a particularly good backup program, and when I tried it
the system crashed. Im not sure but it looks like the scsi driver (noname
board - ncr ) paniced when the tape drive reported the device was full.
