Byte benchmarks again

(I'm sorry I didn't save the message the last time this was discussed.)
After I got a clean compile of gnu time-1.6 with "gcc -Wall", I was
able to run most of the Byte benchmarks from
http://www.silkroad.com/public/bench.tar.gz
The only problem I had was:
The pipe-based context switch test (context1) says
Master sync error: expect 1, got 0
Has anyone fixed this before?
