hi folks,

i'm trying to set up dns on my udb running redhat 4.
my machine sees the network and everything on it. but
it does not see itself. e.g. you do a "telnet my_host_name"
and it says:
my_host_name: Host name lookup failure

you do a "nslookup my_host_name" and it says:
Server: localhost
Address: 127.0.0.1

*** localhost can't find my_host_name: Non-existent host/domain

however, my_host_name is listed in the dns files, as well as in
the /etc/hosts.

any help would be greatly appreciated!
