maybe you can remember this problem. i've spoken about
this before.
i got jensen boot up:) (after downgrading to fw 1.7
and getting he lates aboot from asztarnet)
now i'm trying to install RedHat 2.1 on it. everything goes
just fine until after loading the ramdisk it needs to
mount the installation media.
i've got Redhat on CD. It wont mount it. don't know why:(
so i tried to copy the whole CD to another hard drive.
now i've got an IMB 1.08 meg hd on scsi id 1 with the
RPMs and another DEC hd on scsi 0.
the problem resists:(
i can tell you there's no problem mounting the drive. did it
in VC2. no problems with that.
why wont the install script mount it?
does anyone know? please send me your suggestions.
