UDB died, screen is flashing :(

I had a bunch of ECC errors showing up in syslog on my UDB (Multia)
running linux and winNT. I tried switching some rams (It contains
4 8meg digital rams of which I borrowed a set of 2x8 from another udb)
I found a way to stick them in the udb without getting any ECC errors.
It worked fine for about 20 minutes after which i shut it down. The
next time i turned it on it just flashed some colours at me, and hasn't
gotten to the ARC loader since. I tried removing the ram or putting it
back in the old way, but it wont help.
Can anyone tell me what might be the problem with it. Do the colours mean
anything ? Is it possible the flashrom is empty ?
Any help would be very much appreciated,
Paul (Desperate enough to try knocking on Digital Nijmegen (NL)'s door
about 500 meters away form here ;)
