I have a ISA SoundBlaster 16 (w/o PNP) and it works fine. I think it
sounds better in the alpha as in the intel machine. :-)

Do a "make xconfig" in the /usr/src/linux directory. Click on "Floppy, IDE
and other block devices" and at the line "Multiple devices driver support"
click on the "help" button.
Nobody would expect this, but yes, there comes a popup window. ;-)

Its a good idea to press help on some places in kernel configuration.
