Looks like a nice box, Exactly what kind of SCSI card is it?
Do you happen to know which chipset that graphics card of yours
has? If it's one of the more exotic ones it's probably not
supported by X windows.

You may want to consider switching your console to SRM.

Though be sure that you have a supported SCSI card, otherwise
you wont be able to boot off it.

Is this Suse 7.0 or 6.4? 7.0 has initrd that it has to load. If I
remember
correctly the suse 6.4 floppy ramdisk had to be dd'd a certain way.
Which version are you trying to install?
