You may want to change to SRM to start with, the newer distrobutions are
easier to install from SRM as AlphaBIOS/MILO support seems to be dropping
off. You can get details on changing from one to the other from either the
SRM Howto at alphalinux.org, or on compaq's site. The only problem might
be your SCSI card, do you know what type of SCSI controller it is?
