(New Alpha/Multia user)

Seems I may have toasted my system. Attempted a firmware upgrade on an
Alpha/Multia system. The instructions mentioned that if in SRM, go into
ARC, then reboot. I did just that, but the system hung on 'arc' so,
thinking this was normal, I just hit the reset button.

Now my system freezes at boot up at the (3rd) line:
'Setting console to boot menu...'

Please help!
