About this site

What is the Alpha Linux Organization?
The AlphaLinux Organization (ALO) is a group of individuals dedicated to help improve the use of Linux ® on Alpha architecture. All costs needed for the operation of ALO are donated, and currently ALO pays no salary to its contributing members.

What is our mission?
ALO would like to help increase public awareness of the use of Linux ® on Alpha architecture. To help reduce the misconceptions that pertain to all aspects of AlphaLinux. To raise money and donations in order to further public relations, development, and the future of Linux on Alpha architecture.

Advertising:
alphalinux.org is now offering banner ads. If you would like to advertise to a very specific group of people then send Rich Payne (remove the -nospam) an email and we can discuss the terms, we are willing to accept hardware/software or advertising as payment for services.

Maintainers
Have you ever done something because it is in your heart? Well that's why we have started ALO. All the bandwidth/hardware/design/time is donated, and we would like to continue to provide the community with the best service we can.
